Big-company technology for small businesses.
The systems that make large companies run — real websites, custom order and inventory tools, a point of sale that fits how you actually sell — built for the bakery, the woodworker, and the family camp. Priced so you can say yes. Explained in plain English.
No jargon, no retainers, no surprise bills. You own everything we build.
Three things, done properly.
Every big company has these. Most small businesses have been told they can't afford them. They can.
Websites
A real site, built for your business rather than adapted from a template — with the forms, menus, galleries, and shop links your customers expect.
- Designed and written with you, in a week or two
- Mobile-first, fast, and easy for you to update
- Your own domain, your own files
Business systems
The software your operation is missing — order tracking, inventory, quoting, a register for the market tent — built around how you actually work, on the phone in your pocket.
- Replaces the notebook, the spreadsheet, the whiteboard
- Works offline; syncs when you're back in signal
- Grows into a full ERP when you're ready
Hardware & IT setup
Computers, networks, printers, label printers, card readers, backups — chosen for the job, installed, and explained so you're not calling a help line at 6 a.m.
- Honest recommendations, no upsell
- Setup, migration, and training included
- Ongoing support when you need it
We've run the operation, not just built the software.
Murray & Co. comes out of the production floor. Before this, Mike Murray ran production for a 70-person stone quarrying and fabrication company — three quarry sites and a fab shop — and built the company its own ERP when the off-the-shelf system couldn't keep up. Orders, inventory tags, scanning stations, production tracking, shipping, accounting sync: the kind of system a big company pays a vendor six figures for, built in-house because it had to be.
That's the standard we bring to a bakery's order desk or a woodworker's market tent. Same discipline, right-sized, at a price a small business can actually pay.
Real businesses, real systems.
From a two-person bakery to a quarry running a custom ERP. Every one of these is live or launching.
Sixteen of the ERP's modules. 50 data tables, 30+ API services, a mobile scanning app and a tag-printing station on the shop floor.
Champlain Stone ERP
A natural stone quarrier and fabricator with three sites was running on Microsoft Dynamics GP and a stack of spreadsheets, with GP's end of life on the calendar. We built a full ERP around how the company actually works: sales orders and quotes, pallet tags with barcode scanning, production entries, shipments, sample requests, equipment logs, AR/AP, and a general ledger that stays in sync with GP until the day it's switched off.

Champlain Stone
A rebuild of champlainstone.com for a quarry that sells through a dealer network: a stone catalog with cuts and galleries, a "Stone 101" resource library, a shop, and a password-protected dealer portal with live inventory pulled straight from the ERP, order history, a product flipbook, and materials downloads. Payments through Stripe, deployed on Railway with a Postgres database.

True Stone Group
A retail storefront for genuine Adirondack thin stone veneer, built to sell to homeowners without a middleman: learn the cuts, order a $25 sample kit, run the project calculator (wall size in, stone list and cost out), and check out as a guest with freight estimated up front. Admin pages for orders, products, freight tuning, and messages.

BurchCraft
Hand-forged axes and carved spoons from the Adirondacks, sold at markets and online. The site's shop is driven by the same product list as the Tent Register — a phone app that replaces the paper tally at events: tap items, cash or card, custom pieces, per-event totals after the booth fee, stock counting down as things sell, CSV for taxes. Works with no signal and hands card payments to Square.

The Turner Camps
A century-old family cottage colony on Fourth Lake that takes reservations by phone. A complete redesign with a page and photo gallery for each of nine cottages, inquiry forms that email the owner directly, directions, and an FAQ — with online booking designed in for when the family is ready for it.

Frosted by Kayla
A home bakery selling gourmet cookies and custom cakes at markets. The site takes pre-orders that land in an Order Desk on her phone: a board of requests, a pickup calendar, a bake plan that works backward from each pickup date, and a shopping list rolled up from every order's ingredients. Her own order terms — deposits, lead times — are built into the flow.
Four steps, no mystery.
You'll always know what's being built, what it costs, and when it's done.
Thirty minutes about how your business runs today — what's on paper, what's in your head, what's slowing you down.
Within days, a real link you can open on your phone. Not a mockup — the actual thing, with sample data, for you to poke at.
We go around once or twice until it fits. Then it goes live on your domain, and we sit down and walk through it.
A flat monthly plan keeps it hosted, backed up, and fixed if anything breaks. Changes are quoted up front — never a surprise.
Priced for the businesses we serve.
We keep overhead low and pass it on. A site or app that would run into five figures from an agency starts in the hundreds here.
A complete, custom site with the pages and forms your customers need.
- Design, copy, and build
- Mobile-first, fast, searchable
- One round of revisions included
An order desk, a register, an inquiry system — built for your phone and your workflow.
- Connected to your website
- Works offline, syncs later
- Exports for your accountant
Everything it takes to keep your site and apps up, safe, and working.
- Hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring
- Fixes at no charge — if it breaks, that's on us
- Changes quoted up front; cancel any time
Larger systems — full ERPs, dealer portals, online stores with payments — are scoped and quoted after a conversation. Domain registration is billed at cost. You own your code, your data, and your domain, always.

Mike Murray
I grew up around technology — two years in an IT department before I could legally drink — and then spent years on the other side of it: the Pro Desk at Home Depot, then a stone company in the Adirondacks where I went from running a saw to running production for thirty people across three quarries.
What I learned there is that the gap between big companies and small ones isn't talent or hustle. It's systems. Big companies have software that remembers everything; small ones have a notebook. Murray & Co. exists to close that gap for the businesses around Glens Falls — the ones that make things, bake things, and rent cottages to the same families every summer.
I'm based in Glens Falls, NY, and I'll come to you.
Tell me what's on the notebook.
The first conversation is free and there's no pitch — just questions about how your business runs and an honest answer about what would help. If the answer is "you don't need me yet," you'll hear that too.
